ROLE DESCRIPTION

The AI & Computer Vision Researcher will design, develop, and optimize algorithms for perception, recognition, and decision-making in robotic food delivery systems. Day-to-day work includes conducting applied research, building and evaluating computer vision models, analyzing data from sensors and cameras, and collaborating with engineering teams to integrate models into production-ready systems. The role involves prototyping, experimenting with new methods, improving accuracy and robustness, and documenting findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Istanbul, working closely with cross-functional teams to push the performance and reliability of OneSec’s AI-driven delivery platforms.



QUALIFICATIONS

-Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
-Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision methods for detection, tracking, and classification.
-Experience in Data Science and Statistics for experiment design, model evaluation, and performance analysis.
-Demonstrated Research skills, including problem formulation, literature review, experimentation, and publication or technical reporting.
-Proficiency with relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, C++/C, PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV).
-Background in machine learning or deep learning applied to real-world sensor data, preferably in robotics or autonomous systems.
-Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.
-Ability to work on-site in Istanbul, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
